Synopsis

A rare opportunity to see Wallace and Gromit on the big screen, in one of their Oscar-winning classic adventures, followed by a behind the scenes talk giving an insight into the making of the Wallace and Gromit films and the history of Aardman Animations. 

Andy Symanowski, Director and Animator, will talk about his 25 year career working at Aardman - a company that started on a kitchen table and grew into an internationally renowned film studio - and why he still believes in the magic of animation.

This is a fundraising event for Anna Symanowski, who is planning her own adventure this summer with Play Action International. Anna will be part of a team of volunteers travelling to Uganda in July to transform an empty field at a local school into an exciting, colourful and safe playground bursting with colour and fun. Help us to enrich disadvantaged childrens' lives through the language they know best - play!
