The beloved story of a boy and his dog continues. September 1945. Sebastian waits impatiently for Angelina, who he hasn't seen for two years, to return. Unfortunately, the plane in which she is travelling back to her small village in the Alps crashes into the mountain. After several days of fruitless searching, the authorities are definite: there are no survivors.
